Opening times

The surgery operates an appointment system as follows:

• Monday to Friday - a number of pre-bookable routine appointments are available between 9am and 11am. Pre-bookable routine appointments are available to book 4 weeks in advance.
• There are a number of same day appointments available.  These are formedical emergencies  
• Appointments with the Practice Nurse are pre-bookable and are available Monday and Thursday 9am to 11:30am and Friday 8.30am to 11.30 m.

Extended hours will be delivered by our local Primary Care Network (PCN).  The Orchard Medical Practice is part of the Hinckley & Bosworth Federation.  Under the new arrangements the PCN will be delivering a number of additional appointments which will be available for all patients within the Hinckley & Bosworth PCN. 

These will be pre-bookable appointments including GP appointments, Nursing appointments and Phlebotomy services.  These appointments will be available on Saturdays 9am to 5pm and 6.30pm to 8pm.

These appointments will be available at two different sites in Hinckley not at The Orchard Medical Practice.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
