Acupuncture is now one of the most popular forms of complementary medicine in the UK, with more and more people finding it effective for all types of problems, from arthritis to headaches and back pain.
One of the strengths of Acupuncture lies in the way it treats you 'the person', not just the symptoms you present with. It can prove to be effective not only for specific conditions, but also in reducing stress, speeding recovery to help you get back to work and improving your quality of life.
Even if you have no obvious diagnosis, you just 'don't feel right', or want to use it preventatively, Acupuncture could offer a potential solution to problems that have not responded to other types of treatment. It could provide you with a new route to feeling better, maintaining good health and enhancing your overall sense of wellbeing and can be used alongside any conventional treatment you are having from your GP or Specialist.
